Stan Levy has spent his career working with CEOs and Boards focusing on the key activities that increase the value of the business. These activities include, but are not limited to, assisting in M & A, access to capital, private equity / venture capital investments and public and private placement offerings. He specializes in analyzing complex problems and identifying a range of possible solutions.
Stan appreciates the issues and levers of the top executive and has a deep experience tackling some of the most difficult and important challenges organizations face. Having been in project settings where the clock is ticking on delivering value, he is able to analyze the situation and quickly focus on the levers that matter most. In his role at Grant Thornton he was a key decision maker and like many effective CEOs always accepted the personal risk of those decisions.
Stan was trained in communicating multifaceted ideas simply, creating a story that can be followed and remembered, tying recommended actions back to a central strategic framework that clarifies where a company is headed.
During Stan’s tenure as a member of Grant Thornton’s Senior Leadership Team (one of ten Partners leading the Firm in strategy and overseeing operations) the firm in ten years increased revenue by over 300% while strengthening the Firm’s brand, competitive position and establishing market and industry leadership. As Regional Managing Partner his team achieved over 330% growth with consistent outstanding and record profitability. Stan is particularly proud that four partners that he helped bring to Grant Thornton and reported to him for over ten years are now the four highest level partners including the CEO within Grant Thornton.
He recently retired from Grant Thornton LLP and is presently consulting with select CEOs and Boards. In addition, he’s serving on various not for profit and for profit boards including the University of South Florida Board of Trustees.
